Event Details

Come learn more about Community Hubs through the lens of housing and sustainable design!

A panel discussion on inspiring possibilities and challenges of community hubs. We’ll hear from experts in sustainable design, climate resilience, affordable housing development, social enterprises and community benefits!  Our hope is that this panel will provide learning and inspiration that residents can bring to future community consultations about the proposed Parkdale Community hub at Queen-Cowan.

Co-hosted by two amazing local planners: Hayley Immerman and Sam Carter-Shamai of SVN.

Panellists include:

Paul Dowsett – Sustainable TO

Geoffrey McGrath – New Commons

Lori-Ann Girvan – ArtScape

Heather Marshall – Toronto Environmental Alliance,

Marc Soberano – Building Up

Shannon Holness – Toronto Community Benefits Network
